2015 MARMOT BOCA RATON BOWL MEDIA INFORMATION

Official Team Headquarters: The University of Toledo will be the home team headquartered at Boca Raton Resort & Club located on 501 East Camino Real, Boca Raton, FL 33432. Temple University will be the visiting team headquartered at PGA National Resort & Spa located on 400 Ave of the Champions, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33418. Saint Andrew’s School will serve as the practice site for the Toledo Rockets, and Oxbridge Academy will serve as the practice site for the Temple Owls.

Official Media Hotel: The Boca Raton Marriott at Boca Center (5150 Town Center Circle, Boca Raton, FL 33486) will serve as the official media hotel for the 2015 Marmot Boca Raton Bowl. Parking is free for guests and visitors, and complimentary Wi-Fi will be provided in the media workroom (Glades Boardroom).

Media Credential Distribution: All credentials may be picked up at the Boca Raton Marriott at Boca Center in the Glades Boardroom (right out of the lobby and room is on the left), the Palm Beach County Convention Center and FAU Stadium. NO MEDIA CREDENTIALS WILL BE MAILED. Hours of operation are:

  • December 20
    • Boca Raton Marriott at Boca Center – Palms I & II: 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
  • December 21
    • Boca Raton Marriott at Boca Center – Glades Boardroom: 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
    • Palm Beach County Convention Center: 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.
  • December 22
    • Boca Raton Marriott at Boca Center – Glades Boardroom: 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
    • FAU Stadium – Gate 1: 3 p.m. to start of Q2

Media Availability: All events listed on the schedule below are open to media. Head coaches and select student-athletes will be available for the first 15-20 minutes of each event. No RSVP is necessary, except for practices, but you will have to show your media ID upon arrival at each event.

Team Practices: Team practices will not be open to the public.

Toledo – The first 30 minutes of each practice are open to the media. Brief player and head coach interviews are available after practice. Please see Paul Helgren or Rachel Rodriguez to request players.

Temple – Media members will be allowed to interview coaches for 10-15 minutes at the beginning of practice. Please see Rich Burg or Jena LaMendola with any questions or requests.

Post-Event Content: Following each bowl week event, media will be able to download photos via the 2015 Marmot Boca Raton Bowl Dropbox (link sent separately)

Game Day Shuttles: For those members of the media staying in the official media hotel, a complimentary shuttle will be provided to FAU Stadium on game day. The shuttle will leave the hotel at 4:15 p.m. on game day. Approximately one hour following the conclusion of the game, a shuttle will depart the stadium for the hotel. Shuttle pickup and drop off will be at the valet circle at Gate 6.

Game Day Multimedia Services: Complimentary wireless, hard-wire and high-speed internet access will be available in the press box and photo work room. Satellite Parking: Satellite truck parking for TV stations will be in the parking area located north of FAU Stadium in the north end of Lot 5.

Live Telecasts: On game day, non-originating telecasters may originate live programming from the field until approximately 45 minutes before kickoff. After ESPN has concluded its live coverage from the site, live programming may resume. Television stations or networks may use up to three minutes of footage for television news highlights purposes during the 72 hours after the game. All footage must contain the ESPN logo throughout and must be accompanied by the graphic “Courtesy of ESPN.”
