Media Credential Application Now Open

BOCA RATON, Fla. (December 09, 2020) – The online application for media credentials for the 2020 Roofclaim.com Boca Raton Bowl to be played on Tuesday, December 22, is now open. This year credential applications will be submitted via email to [email protected]. Media credentials are limited due to reduced stadium capacity and safety protocols. No field access will be permitted this year including photographers. Also, Press Box overflow is anticipated due to social distanced seating and reduced capacity. Media overflow will be in a designated section of the stadium stands. For more information on application requirements, visit https://bocaratonbowl.com/credentials/.

Accredited media should only complete the online credential application if they will cover the 2020 Rooflcaim.com Boca Raton Bowl regardless of the participating teams. The deadline for applications is Thursday, December 17 at 5:00 p.m. ET.

Sports editors/directors and/or photography editors need only complete ONE APPLICATION PER MEDIA AGENCY. Working media credentials for all members of any agency can be requested in a single application. When submitting the application, the sports editor/director and/or photography editor should list him/herself as the “contact” and register media members assigned to cover the Roofclaim.com Boca Raton Bowl as “attendees.” If requesting credentials for him/herself, the “contact” will need to be added as an attendee as well. Sports editors/directors and/or photo editors will also need to register the organization’s name, type and contact information.

The Wyndham Hotel Boca Raton is the official media hotel of the 2020 Roofclaim.com Boca Raton Bowl. Hotel reservations can be made from the online registration portal by clicking here or by calling 1-888-404-6880 and refer to Media Boca Bowl group code “122120MED” and your date of arrival. The special discounted rate of $109 per night per room is good between Sunday, December 20 and Wednesday, December 23. The reservation includes in-room internet and access to the onsite media work room. All reservations need to be confirmed by December 14, 2020. After this date, rooms and discounted rates will be subject to availability.

The 2020 RoofClaim.com Boca Raton Bowl will be played on Tuesday, December 22, at 7 p.m. ET at FAU Stadium on the campus of Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton and will be televised by ESPN and locally on ESPN 106.3 FM. This will be the seventh edition of the annual bowl game.
