Palm Beach County’s Only College Bowl Game

Boca Raton, Fla. (October 28, 2021) — Tickets are on sale now for the eighth edition of the RoofClaim.com Boca Raton Bowl that kicks off in the Florida sunshine on Saturday, December 18 at 11 a.m. ET at FAU Stadium. The game will be broadcast live on the ESPN television network, ESPN Radio and locally on ESPN 106.3 FM. The postseason college bowl game has expanded its conference tie-ins this year with the American Athletic Conference, Conference USA, Mid-American Conference, Mountain West Conference, Sun Belt Conference, and Independent Army.

As one of 41 postseason college bowl games in the country, the RoofClaim.com Boca Raton Bowl is the only one hosted in Palm Beach County. As a celebrated annual holiday tradition that lives up to its other name, “Boca’s Biggest Annual Outdoor Party,” the event features all the pomp and circumstance of bowl events throughout the country. It is a high-energy, entertaining experience for both college football fans and non-fans alike that shines a national spotlight on Boca Raton and Palm Beach County. Bowl week activities will begin on Tuesday, December 14 with the arrival of the participating teams; days, times and sites for the team welcome parties, beach parties, luncheon, pep rallies and other bowl week activities will be released at a later date.

The Roofclaim.com Boca Raton Bowl is one of 17 bowl games owned and operated by ESPN Events, a division of ESPN. The RoofClaim.com Boca Raton Bowl debuted in 2014 and has been well received in the community through its first seven years. It has twice held the distinction of matching up two conference champions – Marshall University vs. Northern Illinois University (2014), and UAB vs. Northern Illinois (2018). In all, six conference champions and another three conference division champions have played in the game.
