Boca Raton Bowl Marks ESPN Events’ 25th Anniversary

For 25 years, ESPN Events has created unforgettable moments for schools, student-athletes, fans, and brands. The Boca Raton Bowl is excited to kick off a new season, celebrate 25 years, and introduce a fresh new look for ESPN Events

The Boca Raton Bowl is proud to join the celebration of 25 years of ESPN Events, recognizing a quarter-century of creating memorable experiences for student-athletes, fans, communities and partners across the country. As part of the ESPN Events family, the Boca Raton Bowl continues that tradition and will kick off its 13th annual game on Friday, December 18 at 11 a.m. ET at Flagler Credit Union Stadium on the campus of Florida Atlantic University.

A division of ESPN, ESPN Events has spent the last 25 years bringing college sports to life through bowl games, basketball tournaments, kickoff games and championship events from coast to coast. What started as a growing events business has evolved into one of the nation’s leading collegiate event operators, creating opportunities for thousands of student-athletes while giving fans unforgettable moments and communities meaningful economic impact.

The Boca Raton Bowl has proudly been part of that story since 2014. Over the past 12 seasons, the game has welcomed teams, coaches and fans from across the country to South Florida, producing memorable matchups and showcasing Palm Beach County on a national stage. More than 60 Boca Raton Bowl alumni have gone on to be selected in the NFL Draft, while millions of viewers have tuned in to experience the unique energy of bowl season in paradise.

As ESPN Events enters its next chapter, the division has also introduced an updated brand identity that reflects its growth, innovation and continued commitment to delivering first-class events. The Boca Raton Bowl will incorporate the refreshed look as it continues building on its tradition as one of college football’s premier postseason destinations.

The 2026 Boca Raton Bowl will once again be televised nationally on ESPN and broadcast on ESPN Radio and locally on ESPN 106.3, with participating teams announced on December 6 following conference championship weekend.
