It was an action-packed day surrounding the Cheribundi Tart Cherry Boca Raton Bowl. The day started with our Executive Director Doug Mosley speaking at the Boca Raton Chamber Breakfast at the Boca Raton Resort, our host hotel for FAU.

FAU Vice President and Director of Athletics Pat Chun and Senior Associate Athletics Director for Development & Marketing at the University of Akron joined Mosley at the breakfast to talk about the excitement surrounding the bowl game. We are excited to have such passionate fan bases cheer on our teams.

Following a delicious breakfast, the real fun got started at AV Rental Depot at the Head Coaches Press Conference. Legendary coaches Terry Bowden and Lane Kiffin were greeted by a large and excited crowd. Bowden and Kiffin exchanged banter while audience members asked questions to the coaches about their seasons and game preparation.

Fans enjoyed Cheribundi Tart Cherry and an assortment of food from Duffy’s.

The day ended in the streets of Boca Raton at the Boca Holiday Parade. The bowl crew rolled through town in JM Lexus cars fully equipped with bags of candy that Owlsley and Zippy the Kangaroo handed out to the fans.

We had a great day with some great people…. We are so looking forward to getting our teams down here to kick off bowl week!
