The countdown to college football season begins in Boca Raton, where fans, community leaders and local nonprofits will come together for an evening that celebrates the game while giving back.

On Tuesday, August 4, the Spirit of Giving Network will host The Kick Off at American Social Boca Raton from 5:30-7:30 p.m., giving football fans an opportunity to celebrate the start of the season while supporting Spirit of Giving, the official charity partner of the Boca Raton Bowl.

Hear from Doug Mosley, Executive Director of the Boca Raton Bowl, and Michael Graffin, Interim Athletic Director for Florida Atlantic University Athletics, as they preview the upcoming college football season and what’s ahead for FAU Football and the Boca Raton Bowl.

More than a football gathering, the evening supports an important mission. One hundred percent of the proceeds will benefit Spirit of Giving’s Back to School PBC! Program, which helps provide local students with the supplies they need for a successful school year through the Spirit of Giving Network’s extensive community partnerships.

Tickets are $40 and include two drinks and happy hour bites.

The Owls open the home schedule by hosting Navy on Saturday, Sept. 12 at Flagler Credit Union Stadium for Salute to Service Night. The Boca Raton Bowl kicks off at 11 a.m. on December 18 at Flagler Credit Union Stadium.
