South Florida’s Culinary Scene to Shine at 2025 Great Chefs Tailgate Showcase

College football season is officially here — and in Boca Raton, that means it’s time to eat, sip, cheer and celebrate! On Wednesday, September 10, 2025, from 6–8:30 p.m., the ABC Supply Great Chefs Tailgate Showcase will once again take over Boca Raton Innovation Campus (BRiC), bringing together some of South Florida’s top restaurants, hotels, breweries and mixologists for an unforgettable night of flavor and community spirit.

This annual Boca Raton Bowl tradition does more than spotlight culinary talent — it fuels a greater cause. The event benefits Spirit of Giving’s annual Holiday Gift Drive, a massive countywide effort to ensure thousands of local children experience the joy of the holiday season.

Last year’s Tailgate Showcase raised $40,000, which translated into more than 1,000 gifts for children in need. Organizers are aiming even higher in 2025.

“We are deeply grateful to ESPN and the Boca Raton Bowl, ESPN West Palm, our participating chefs, breweries and volunteers, whose efforts make this event a powerful force for positive impact in our community,” said Lindy Harvey, Executive Director of Spirit of Giving.

“Our Holiday Gift Drive is a true community-wide effort, uniting businesses, organizations and volunteers to serve the children of 78 nonprofit agencies across Palm Beach County. Together, we streamline efforts, reduce redundancy and maximize generosity to make the holidays brighter for thousands of kids.”

With more than 500 guests in attendance last year, the Great Chefs Tailgate Showcase is always a feast for the senses. Guests can expect bold bites, decadent desserts and plenty of South Florida’s best craft brews and cocktails.

A panel of celebrity judges will once again sample the creations and crown winners in categories including Best Beverage, Most Spirited, People’s Choice and the coveted Grand Culinary Champion award.
